The Terrace Plaza Hotel is available for redevelopment and could be a magnet for creative and imaginative uses which utilize historic tax credits and preserve the character of this landmark building. A mix of arts, entertainment, and hospitality would be ideal with its prime location adjacent to Fountain Square and within a few blocks of performing arts centers, contemporary art museums, and the convention center. The former department store levels each have 36,000 sq. ft. and could be utilized for a variety of functions such as immersive entertainment, exhibition space, and many more ideas below.

The hotel tower has space for multiple restaurants and lounges along with 200+ guest rooms or apartments. Terraces at the 8th floor and rooftop can be used for outdoor dining and amenities. Some examples of hospitality which would be a great fit are below.

When it opened in 1948, the Terrace Plaza Hotel was the most technologically-advanced hotel in the world and one of the first in the International Style. Its lead designer, Natalie de Blois, was an architect who was largely underappreciated during her career, but is now seen as a pivotal figure in the development of the modern high-rise.
